Pre Regional Midwifery Summit

To advance the profession of midwifery globally by promoting autonomous midwives as the most appropriate caregivers for childbearing women Regional Midwifery Summit was organized at Karachi from 09-10^th October 2019.this Summit was organized by Midwifery Association of Pakistan along with WHO and UNFPA. From Ziauddin University College of nursing three faculties were the members of Task force and scientific committee.

Pre regional Midwifery summit was organized at Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), Institute of Nursing on 7^th of October 2019. The topic of which was,” Midwifery Educator competencies by World Health Organization and the speaker was Ms Shehla Naeem Zafar, Principle DUHS, Institute of Nursing

The faculties Ms Bella Richard and Ms Komal attended the session. Different teaching learning strategies along with hands on practice sessions were used in order to create the impact.
