Workshop on “MCQ Development”

Multiple-choice questions are hard to set but are always reliable to assess. Multiple choice is a form of an objective assessment in which respondents are asked to select only correct answers out of the choices from a list. The multiple choice format is most frequently used in educational testing. Multiple choice questions lend themselves to the development of objective assessment items, but without author training, questions can be subjective in nature. In this regard, Workshop on “MCQ Development” was held on October 2nd 2018 at ZU Clifton and was attended by the faculty members of ZUCON that facilitated the participants in acquiring effective knowledge on the same.

Community Health

Community health is a major field of study within the medical and clinical sciences which focuses on the maintenance, protection, and improvement of the health status of population groups and communities. It is a distinct field of study that may be taught within a separate school of public Health or environmental health. As part of an integrated community approach to assisting individuals with disabilities, Dar ul Sukun works closely with service users, care givers, local authorities, volunteers and other organizations to ensure individual requirements of each care recipient are met. Dar ul Sukun offers an enhanced quality of life for those who require consistent care and special attention. In this regard, community visit was paid by diploma students at Dar-ul-sukoon along with their community guide MS Bilquis Alidino on 8th October 2018 where they spent quality time with the special children and motivated them via various activities.

Teachers’ Day

Teachers’ Day is a special day for the appreciation of teachers, and may include celebrations to honor them for their special contributions in a particular field area, or the community in general. October 5 every year is always a memorable day for teachers in the country as it affords them the opportunity to celebrate among themselves and be reminded how important they are because they belong to a noble profession. A short celebration on Teacher’s Day on 5th October 2018 was celebrated in this regard where the students of ZUCON exhibited a token of love and respect to all the faculty members and our Mentor and Principle Ms Alia Nasir.
